provide visual evidence of the full range of strength and beauty of contemporary Azawakh in the Sahel 

raise awareness of the history, cultures, environment and current/prevailing socio-politico-economic conditions in the Sahel

sensitize others to the importance of increasing the genetic possibilities of Azawakh bred outside Africa

utilize and encourage the utilization of imported Sahelian bred stock and/or their descendants in western breeding programs

forge relationships with and support the work of other like-minded individuals and organizations 

foster an atmosphere of mutual respect and co-operation among friends and admirers of the Azawakh
